How to use: Gua Sha massage is performed on cleansed skin. Apply your favorite oil or serum on it so that the Gua Sha glides easily over the skin.
HOW TO PERFORM A MASSAGE
Apply oil, serum or mask to cleansed skin with your hands, using gentle rubbing movements, directing your hands from the bottom up (e.g. from the collarbone to the chin, from the chin towards the forehead). The massage is very simple, it consists in moving the Gua Sha over the skin in the right direction. The massage is performed starting from the neck, moving to the cheeks and around the eyes, and finishing on the forehead. Make each move slowly and repeat it several times in one area. Use the picture below to check which side of the Gua Sha to use for different areas of the face. Place the Gua Sha on the skin, selecting its appropriate end, and move it over the skin with light pressure.
- Start the massage from the neck, moving upwards towards the chin.
- Place the Gua Sha on the middle of the chin and glide it over the jaw towards the ear.
- Then put the Gua Sha to the corner of the mouth and glide it towards the ear.
- Put the Gua Sha on the lobe of the nose and glide it towards the ear.
- Apply the Gua Sha to the inner corner of the upper eyelid and direct it to the outer corner of the upper eyelid.
- Move the Gua Sha from the outer corner of the eye to the inner corner of the lower eyelid.
- Move the Gua Sha from the outer corner of the eye to the inner corner of the lower eyelid.
Perform all movements symmetrically (right and left part of the face).
HOW TO CLEAN A MASSAGER
- Gently wipe with a soft, damp cloth.
- Then wipe dry.
- Do not rinse the massager with hot water or immerse the massager in it.
- Do not clean it with any detergents.
