PHLOV cosmetics are natural cosmetics, but not 100%. In some products, we use substances that we are unable to obtain without modifying their structure accordingly. Often, to extract the best properties of a substance of its origin is partly synthetic. The naturalness of our products and their origin is calculated in accordance with ISO 16128 standard. According to the latest regulations, this should be calculated in detail according to this standard. This requires us to carefully analyze not only the raw material, but also each of its components. PHLOV cosmetics offer a certain effect – they do not have an age range. Because the skin does not age – it has its needs. Remember that you work whole life for beautiful skin, and cosmetics are one of the ingredients of this path.

In the design of our products we put a lot of work and hearts and avoid the use of ingredients known for its irritating properties, clogging the mouths of the sebaceous glands (so-called pores) or controversial components. Our products are dermatologically tested in people with sensitive skin. However, they are intended for healthy skin. If you tend to have severe skin allergies, have skin with severe acne or other problems, we advise you to carefully check the list of ingredients on the packaging of each product or on its product card on our website. We also recommend that you seek the advice of a dermatologist.

Absolutely not! PHLOV cosmetics are produced in Poland – European Union law prohibits the testing on animals of any cosmetics and ingredients used in their production (Regulation No 1223/2009 of the European Parliament and of the Council (EC) of 30 November 2009 concerning cosmetic products). It is also worth remembering that since 2013, there has been a total ban on testing animal cosmetics throughout the European Union, as well as importing and selling such tested ingredients for their production.

The occurrence of an allergic reaction is a very individual issue, resulting from the sensitivity of the skin to a given ingredient. Therefore, we always recommend that before application you perform a skin test, which consists of applying a small amount of product. Any cosmetic, even the one tested for hypoallergenicity, can cause irritation or sensitize. Their cause is not always cosmetics – allergies and irritation can occur after contact with food components, air pollution, cleaning products available at home. In our products we use many active substances – clinically tested and at safe concentrations. Our products undergo the required tests. On our packaging, the composition of INCI is also in Polish, so that it is easier to pay attention to allergens. If you have any irritation, please let us know about it.

To properly perform the cosmetic tolerance test, apply a small amount of the preparation to the skin in the mandible area or behind the ear and observe the behavior of the skin for 12 hours. In case of severe irritation or skin lesions (rash, persistent erythema, itching, swelling, exudate) refrain from using the product.

We do not use pure palm oil for the production of PHLOV cosmetics. Some of the ingredients of our products are produced on the basis of palm oil, however, these raw materials are RSPO certified, which means that palm oil for their production comes from controlled crops.

Yes, our cosmetics are vegan. Both our cosmetics and ingredients, which are found in formulas, are NOT tested on animals. In our products you also won’t find zoonotic ingredients and those in which production the work of animals was used, for example honey or silk.

PHLOV cosmetics do not have added ingredients containing gluten; however, we cannot exclude the possibility that in plants producing our raw materials, gluten-containing ingredients are not used.

Yes, PHLOV is a 100% Polish brand. Our products are also made in Poland.

We do not recommend the use of Active series body lotions, and products with a content of fruit acids for use during pregnancy and during breastfeeding – contain high concentrations of intensely active ingredients. Other products may be used during this periods.

PHLOV cosmetics are composed to provide your skin with the best – their use is a synergy skin care treatment. You can use them with products of other brands, but it is difficult for us to predict how the cosmetic that we do not know will behave. However, we hope you will fall madly in love with our cosmetics and will no longer look for other products

There is no need for this, because their formulas are specially adapted to storage conditions at room temperature. However, if in the morning you want to feel the dose of refreshing, insert, for example, eye cream in the refrigerator. Our face cream with a million droplets of water gives you an amazing feeling of refreshment after application even without being kept in the refrigerator.

Our products can be safely used up to 6 months from the opening date, as evidenced by the icon of open jar on the package. The term 6 months from the moment of opening is a term that allows you to use any cosmetic without stress, and for us it is a guarantee that your skin benefits from the full goodness of the ingredients contained in our products. In addition, on each package you will find information about the date to which the product that has not been opened should be used. Look for the marking "Best to use before the end". However, you will get the best durability when you store our products tightly closed, without access to direct and strong sunlight and heat sources. Won’t any cosmetic like such conditions????
